The Liscomb River provides the setting for boating, swimming, and bird-watching, and miles of wooded and riverside walking trails

One of the wildest and most rugged parts of the province, Liscomb Mills is a small rural community along the Eastern Shore Canadian province of Nova Scotia. The Liscomb River Trail is known for the sound of water rushing over rocks and the warmth of the sun radiating off massive boulders left by the ancient glaciers will put you in touch with nature. The trail includes a suspension bridge that overlooks a waterfall and the nearby fish ladder, which was constructed to help restock Atlantic salmon. The Mayflower Trail is a rugged coastal hiking trail that winds along the mouth of the Liscomb River. There are many scenic lookouts exist on the trail and multiple opportunities to view local flora and fauna.
